Here are a couple poems I wrote a while ago. They are tiny, but I felt like posting them randomly. After all, some of the best things happen for no reason at all (in my humble opinion).

Cut My Heart Out

Cut my heart out,
Into pieces
Sew it up
Sew it together again.

Who am I to give you permission?
Do what you will.

Little Frills
Little Curls
Little Girls.

It's just for fun you say.
You'll like it too you say.
You'll like it better this way.

Blind numb tiny heart
Beat soft and still


Heart of Pleated Glass

Heart of pleated glass
So fragile and will not last

Inhale

Your words sting my ears like little needles
Weaving lies into the seems that hold me

Together

I'll hold you for a year
I'll keep you maybe a thousand days more

And then what?

I'm numb from the restless blue
I'm tired of pining it tightly together

Like the curls that fall in my face

Gathering frustration like fresh dewy fruit
Broadcasting quiet waves of unspeakable thoughts

The waves scatter, no one is listening
