I carry a bow, but it's merely for pulling single critters out of packs that would devour me whole if I were to wade into them. I like the "up close and personal" aspect of my class.
And being that up close can literally be a rush. There have been several times when my heart rate has noticably gone up while killing players from the Horde side.

The trip alternated between awful (stuck at a service station in NM) and sometimes pretty amazing. The house needs a lot of TLC but it's pretty neat here. I've been here for about a week (no phone or computer), but I'm hooked up now watching a cool thunderstorm roll past. This is going to be fun.

Doing the nerdy thing... I've upgraded my system to Tiger (the nickname for the new version of Mac OS X). Today seems to be all about messing around with gadgets, as well as organizing some music files and CD's and all that.
