A much needed vacation...
What's my rule about one of the first things you do in a hotel room? Jump on the bed.
So, I went with my family to Monterey, CA this week. We were only there for a couple days but it was just about all I needed to clear my mind. It was filled with incredible seafood, relaxation, fun, and jellyfish. I didn't take as many pictures as I should have, but I was trying to relax too. So, here's what I got.
First of all, my entire trip was filled with Sublime music, from the drive there, to my hotel room, to the drive back. So, here!
We hit this dragon fly on the way up. it's still in my windshield.
We stayed at the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa and it was GORGEOUS (and expensive... rightly so). We had a balcony with full ocean view and binoculars in our room. We left out balcony door open at night and listened to the ocean waves and sean lions barking.

The rest is the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I took a fuck ton of pictures, so I'll spoiler them for you, but they're fucking AMAZING!!! Though I wish I had a better quality camera. But, this is the best I could do with what I got!

And that's about it! Like I said, didn't take as many pictures as I should have, but all the memories are stashed away in my brain somewhere, which will have to do. When I got home, my cat, quite apparently, has decided he hates me. He hasn't stopped yelling at me and he scratched my leg. I think he was pissed I left him for a couple days. Haha! My ex was extra cuddly last night and told me that he missed me while I was gone, which felt really good.
