Meaning "double walker" a doppelganger is a shadow-self that accompanies every human. Only the owner of a doppelganger can see it, otherwise it is invisible to human eyes. Dogs and cats have been known to see doppelgangers. Providing sympathetic company, a doppelganger almost always stands behind a person, and they cast no reflection in a mirror. They are prepared to listen and give advice to...

Hard to see the Brad Pitt thing from the pictures. You should scan that ID.

As to Flux and I looking alike, I don't really see it. She's half my size for one. But I think we are both loudly strange, confident in the parts of ourselves that other people hide. I think it's much more a question of conduct than appearence. I think at the time of the comparison, she and I both had red hair.

But thank you. I'm glad to be just Olsen.

Bipolar Disorder may begin either with manic or depressive symptoms.
The manic symptoms include:

severe changes in mood compared to others of the same age and background - either unusually happy or silly, or very irritable, angry, agitated or aggressive
unrealistic highs in self-esteem - for example, a teenager who feels all powerful or like a superhero with special powers
great increase in energy and...

Judge Sternwood: So, Agent Cooper, how are you finding our little corner of the world?
Cooper: It's heaven, sir.
Judge S.: Well, this week heaven includes arson, multiple homicide, and an attempt on the life of a Federal agent.
Cooper: Heaven is a large and interesting place, sir!

I said mental.

This is just one of those things that means so much to me. It is an extension of myself on paper. And if no one is there to realize it in actuality, it is a failure of failures.

I could accept seeing my musical flop onstage, could accept it falling in on itself because it was poorly written or actualized, because it was to delicate or too forceful.

But to see my entire project shatter before it begins, simply because no one wants to audition? That's not a worthwhile failure. It's not my failure.

I want something I can learn from, or leer at, or despise, for being without a doubt mine.

Not everyone knows that the best way to heal an upset girl is to punch her and buy her ice cream. Nice form! <3 ! It had better be vegan ice cream, though.

I just ate a whole pint of soy delicious rasberry, but my favourite is soy delicious creme caramel.

It's a shame that horror movies nowadays are crap. I mean, with all the technology, they can be fantastic looking but then the plot (the what?) is mainly inexistant. Since "Hellraiser", was there one great horror movie released??

Sigh...

Alright? I am a wee bit gloomy this morning, as Nic managed to upset me by forgetting that today will be my first day at College. I am nervous.
And you KNOW there will no cool people on the course...and OBVIOUSLY the tutor will appear only sporadically and talk in riddles and OF COURSE i'll be mugged on the way home by killer 5...

Congratulations! Have fun! It will be wonderful.

Here's a story.

When I lived in the convent in DC, we used to go on walks every night from the senate building to the capital, to the washington monument and sometimes to the lincoln memorial. One day, after a heavy rain with lightning, I stepped outside with my girlfriend to discover a felled tree, which was about 4 inches thick, 20 feet high, and leafy.

I picked it up for kicks. Then I thought it would be funny to carry it to the end of the block, so I did it. Then I thought it would be funny to cross the street with it, in front of all the conservative DC traffic. So I did.

We ended up walking the five blocks or so to the capitol in this fashion. I thought it was hilarious. People kept stopping to ask us what we were doing. I'd say "I'm carrying a tree," and nothing more, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

We made it to the capitol, and my arms were sore, but I was high on the rush of my wierdness, so I thought I might as well see if I could make it to the washiington monument with it, it was only a mile. So we kept walking.

We got to the washington monument, and it seemed like this was a huge accomplishment, bringing my tree against the huge phallus, as if it were a tourist just like everyone else there.

My friend thought we were heading home, but we were halfway to the lincoln memorial and i figured if we had made it so far, i might as well keep trecking. So we kept walking, as i carried my tree so that it stood tall above me, it's leaves blown back, like a flag in front of a marching band.

When we got to the lincoln memorial, we were stopped by some security-type officers, who were concerned that i had taken the tree from the park, which is apparently protected as a wildlife refuge or somesuch, thus making it a felony to take or leave anything from there. i explained that it had fallen near my house, and that we had simply carried it through the grove, and they were fine with it, except that they somehow wouldn't allow us to take the tree into the memorial.

i had planned to leave the tree at lincoln's feet, or 'plant' it nearby, but since it was a felony, i decided instead to carry it all the way home.

we were stopped by capitol security on the way back, and they were really agitated that i might carry a tree around with me without any explanation. they wanted to know what political statement i was making. uh....'trees like to sightsee too?' finally they let us continue on.

when we finally got back to the convent, my arms were shaking they were so exhausted, but i carried the tree an extra ten feet from where i had picked it up, just so that it had something to show for it's journey.
olsen:
haha thanks. I list that walk as one of my life's great accomplishments. smile

I'm really excited that you liked my pictures so much. I'm trying to be a Suicide Girl, but they didn't take the black and white set. I actually have taken my sets myself, on a camara with a time delay, and then I do a little cropping to make sure the picture is balanced.

I think though that I will soon get a friend to take a set, more because I need to use his house than because I want someone else to. I like how my own photography turns out. There's an extra sort of intimacy to it. And I'm really proud to show them off both as my photography and my body.

I'm posting some more pictures from a set I wont send SG soon if you wanna check back. The light is really nice in them.

I hope you're feeling more well today.

Being at work but doing none is one of the best thing ever! Sometimes I just stay there feeling the money getting in my pockets while I chat with every cute girl that's around me. Sweet.

But the best part is to have a major crap that takes a long time to properly evacuate and think about the money you're making meanwhile. Money is shit. Indeed biggrin

I don't get the Atkins Diet... I don't even get why so many people go on about how Carbs are bad. They're not. Bleached flour and grains are bad (i.e. white rice, bread pasta etc). But the whole grains are good. dammit! And don't you just feel that eating loads of meat and veggies is just wrong?! Not even potatoes? I think I'd be puking all day long... maybe that's how it works because it makes you puke because there's nothing to soak up the animal fats and juices...
