Early morning ramblings...you have been warned.

I've got a question. See, I'm in the midst of an argument with some friends about the adult industry, more specifically, WAITRESSING (not dancing) in a strip club. Do you think it's just like actually dancing? Do you think that it's a copout to getting a real job?

Both of my answers are no, btw. If you're in a...

Yes, it's me, sometimes I do some fetishy stuff. So I said fuck it, and I'll do what I want no matter what anyone thinks, regarding the job I mentioned.

As long as I am ok with it, then who cares what anyone else thinks? It's that whole agree to disagree thing, and my friends are going to have to respect whatever choices I make, right?

Thanks for the input, btw.

i have a simular ordeal. i am currently working a "soft" job that over pays me and has extremely flexi-table hours. I get off when i want, so on. I HATE IT. Money can be very important unfortunetly; but it is not the only important thing. as long as you need the money, the money is probably the most important thing. but if you are working a job you can't stand, it may not be worth it. so, as long as YOU don't mind the job, and you are making enough, stick with it.

Wow, that's sad to hear about Claudia.

What do you guys think that your parents or family would think of you being on SG, either as a model or member?

Fortunately, (er, unfortunately) I don't have any contact with the family that's left, so none of that would be a consideration in posing or being a member, but I feel for those of you that...

Dia's set is awesome, just like I figured it would be. Too bad there aren't more pictures *hint, hint* The veil is a nice touch, too.

On a random note, can anyone recommend any good cookbooks? I'm bored to tears of eating out, and am in a rut with my chef skills. Any SG cooks out there?
My favorite foods are Indian, Greek, Japanese, and...

i'm sick of eating out myself, it's too damn convenient. i need to eat healthier before i have a heart attack at the age of 30. somebody recommend something. as long as it's good and somewhat healthy i'll eat it. actually, as long as it's good smile

Thank you for the complimentsmile I will have another set to send in after this Sunday (if all goes well with that).

About cooking... cooking is a HUGE hobby of mine, a great love, important for any proper hedonist. Total glutton and gourmand here, and plus, a homebody. Someone got me housebroken, I think it was my mum. I'll try to send you some of my favourite recipes, although I tend to not use them so much as let them inspire me. I eat like a fiend. And I'm hungry right now.

Wow, that article on Wired is great. Mad props to SG and its continued evolving.

Good news, bad news. Good news is that my friend is going to scout the neighborhood and put out fliers with Mr.Cat's pic on them. He is sort of a Kitty P.I., if you will, has had success in the past finding lost kitties, so yippee on that. I feel...

In all fairness, I don't think I spent enough time in Iowa to write it off. However, the scenery made me nearly fall asleep at the wheel. The rest area I went to was very icky, and I just recall it being one big blur. No offense *wink*

eclectic:
Eh, I've spent my whole life in this state, so I'd say you can write it off with a clear conscience. At least you didn't stop at the "nostalgia" rest stop in northwest Iowa. It's a barn. A big red fucking barn. I hate this state... smile

Amazing how long it's been since I've been here. I missed you guys!

Unfortunately, the LA trip didn't go smoothly as planned. Got into town late Tuesday evening and left very early Saturday morning. I didn't get to hang out with anyone, it seemed, except for a very last minute impromptu arrangement at the Red Lion Tavern in Silverlake. I wanted to see a lot...

Early Sunday. I'm about to leave in an hour or so for the arduous journey to California.

I'm still sick, nearly to the point of delirium, but I'm in good spirits, and am confident that Mr.Cat will be found!

I can't wait to see everyone, and I think I'll be able to attend Dr. H's Nova Express thingie on Thursday night. I'd like to spin...

Happy Friday.

Last night I had nightmares that Don Henley was trying to suffocate me in my sleep, which translates to: I was so sick that I couldn't breathe, and the alarm was set to some classic rock station playing an Eagles marathon. Whew.

A closet full of clothes and NOT a thing to wear is the current situation. Since I cured my farmer's tan,...

Thanks so much for all the suggestions, and especially to Alice for the generous offer. I've got to find the poor little dear, I hope he remembers me after 6 whole months (I feel like such a bad mommy!)

So a35mmlife, I don't know if you read the thread on the old boards about how you and I both went to Culver City High School around the same time? I remember your sister, and it certainly is such a small world.

Why me? I AM SICK. So sick. I just woke up feeling like I'm on drugs, but I can't remember the last time I did any?

This clamminess and vertigo that I'm feeling better go away before the super mega road trip on Sunday morning. Yes, did I happen to mention that I'm going to LA from Minneapolis VIA CAR? Saturn wagon with not one,...

Hello DJ Trixie. I saw your website and I noticed you are into a lot of really amazing music. So..I just wanted to extend a hello.

Wow. The site has changed so much, and I think all for the better. It's funny to read everyone's profiles.

So next week I will be in LAlaland, my hometown. I haven't been there in 6 months, but I expect that the traffic and attitude will be the same. I also have not driven a car, any car, since I left. But I imagine that...
