Amazing how long it's been since I've been here. I missed you guys!
Unfortunately, the LA trip didn't go smoothly as planned. Got into town late Tuesday evening and left very early Saturday morning. I didn't get to hang out with anyone, it seemed, except for a very last minute impromptu arrangement at the Red Lion Tavern in Silverlake. I wanted to see a lot more of my friends and find my cat, and didn't seem to do either.
There is a lot on my mind, and maybe it's because I'm delirious from driving 2300 miles from LA to Minneapolis, with barely any sleep. Oh, and I HAD not driven since December, if that helps any. Let's see, I drove through Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arizona, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wyoming, all in a week! Let's just say that my car is very pissed off at me right now. Many impressions of all the places, but more on that later.
I'm just glad to be back in one piece.
