Why me? I AM SICK. So sick. I just woke up feeling like I'm on drugs, but I can't remember the last time I did any?
This clamminess and vertigo that I'm feeling better go away before the super mega road trip on Sunday morning. Yes, did I happen to mention that I'm going to LA from Minneapolis VIA CAR? Saturn wagon with not one, not two, but FOUR other people. 4 people + 2000 miles=? Forgive me for venting, but that could be claustrophobic at the very least.
Onto some more exciting news. I open my Inbox today, and have some lovely email, and barely any spam. My pal Susan from NoLa wants me to visit and she works for United, so buddy pass=super cheap trip, yippeee. Might want to make that trip sometime in the late fall though, I couldn't imagine the humidity there now. It also appears that I will have my schedule in LA completely booked, as I have at least 2 photo shoots and possibly a gig I'm hoping? That would be neat-o ban-deet-o!
I've got a question? Totally random here, kinda. When you go to a store or restaurant, and you want to order a carbonated flavored beverage a la Coke, etc., how do you ask for it? The normal way would be to say, "I'd like a soda, please", right? Well, thanks to Minnesota, I am asking for a "pop." There are aisles in stores just labeled "POP", and I can't help but giggle and think of silly things, like the Dr.Seuss book, Hop on Pop. And don't go there, please. Yes it could now be considered an inappropriate title, but that was a LONG long time ago?
What is your favorite Dr.Seuss book? I go back and forth constantly, but I think my favorite today is Horton Hears a Who. "A person's a person, no matter how small."
