re: carrie and her dad... fingers crossed... my family has a history of heart problem my grandfather had a triple by pass when he was 35!!! and then my uncle, (his son), had a quad-bypass at 36... so yikes... serriously... but doctors seem to know what they're doing now-a-days with hearts...
not to sure yet where my deployment will be taking me... the usual places are spain, italy, france, and england, those are always places we hit... but they are talking about doin some russia, and scotland and ireland, greece, and i am hoping for some more portugal... and then we are going to the middle east for a bit of time... but i doubt we will leave the ship too often there...
i will have e-mail, probably no internet though, (hoping to find internet cafes over seas, so sad is my addiction
)... and i, too, would love to keep in touch... also, if you wanna e-mail me your address i will send foreign postcards!!!

i am at Naval Station Norfolk.. aka N.O.B.... no i don't know charlie sterner... it is a very big base... having a shitload of ships not to mention 2 carriers... which carry about 1200 people alone... there are also 3 other bases in the area as well... the military has taken over the area... big time.. and i hate it... i seem to not like the people who join the navy... except me... i'm awsome... but everyone seems to live for two things... drinking...(a lot) and cheating on their girl/boy friends.... it's sad... i have very little in common... and no social life with them... i have 2 navy friends... and one of those i don't really like that much hahaha...

I'm sorry about your kitty. Its difficult to lose a pet that has been part of your life.
You can have it cremated, and keep the little box of ashes with a photo of the kitty on it. I know people who do this.
