In my last blog I had said that I was still undergoing two treatments with two different doctors, unfortunately I had to cut one of them and abandon treatment with Dr. Rose midway because although effective in the long term, it is a slow treatment with slow improvement, which needs consistency and spends a lot of money. If one day it's possible I intend to do it again.


I still hadn't had much treatment time with Dr. Agostinho, but I had high expectations, because until today he was the doctor who gave me the most attention, but that also meant spending a lot on exams, procedures and medicines, despite everything being very expensive so far, I'm grateful for being able to pay and for all the support I've received so far.

I still have difficulty doing many everyday things but I'm a little better than before, and I continue to work on my conditioning and hope that I feel normal again. Many days I can't do anything, I'm out of breath walking down the street, things that require many processes to be carried out discourage me greatly. little things that used to be so simple are still a challenge.

Sometimes I got very discouraged or really lacked physical strength, and I neglected my diet, mainly because I don't have a support network, cooking is a very difficult thing for me, sometimes just doing it in one day ruins me, on days when I'm a little better, I take the opportunity to make more portions and freeze them, neglecting my health really hurt me and my physical assessment got worse, but now I'm more focused on this part and on improving

ABOUT THE GESTRINONE IMPLANT AND OTHER REMEDIES
I hope one day I won't need it anymore, because it's something I can't pay for on my credit card (I don't have a high limit on my card) and 3 thousand reais is a considerable amount to disrupt my monthly plans, During these four months I felt bad because of the adaptation period, I still have a lot of bleeding, pain;

I still have a lot of weakness and indispositionand discomfort but the implant helps a little with that, there was a month when I really felt an improvement, it was during the month of October, after that the effect it was decreasing, and all the symptoms were returning again, it's horrible the feeling that without an expensive medicine you are nothing, you can't live, you can't take care of yourself, you can't get up or take care of the people you love, I had a I had an epiphany this month when suddenly I was in bed and thought ''I'm sick forever'' and most of the people who are close to me and live with me are not aware of this, my own body hurts me and I'm all damaged inside. On the other hand, I try to think about it so I don't charge myself so much when I can't do things.



Gestrinone in the form of an implant was very frustrating for me, because I expected more improvement (especially for the price it was) because it only lasts for 4 months and at the moment I am without its effect so I have been feeling the symptoms of the disease very strongly since The beginning of November (gestrinone is an anti-estrogen used to treat menorrhagia, which is heavy bleeding for several days) so I need to put it in again, but I can't this month...

The medicines that the doctor gave are very slow to be absorbed by the body and regulate itself, but I feel that it made a difference, I was able to pay for them in the first prescription, at the beginning of the month I had another consultation with the Dr, because the clinic offered me a courtesy (800 reais in savings) and he analyzed my tests and issued a new prescription, but unfortunately in my case it can only be done in a manipulated way, which is much more expensive, I couldn't pay for it this time with a lot of pain in my heart because I know how much it would make a difference to me but unfortunately they cost 3k

unfortunately the implant dosage must start low and gradually increase until I find the right dosage, unfortunately this can only be dosed every 4 months so until I find the right dosage for me it can take years, and cost a lot of money.

ABOUT THE EXAMS:
It was very difficult for me when the doctor gave me as many exams as before, because it is a very high price, I was in shock, a biomedical friend got me a discount at the employee price at a clinic where he works and even so It was very expensive, then my aunt got me a discount at the company she worked for, it was still a very high price but I managed to do it;
When the results came out, the doctor saw that some things improved, and others were adjusted consequently, the body works through chemical processes that depend on other factors, I was happy with that and with the way that Dr Agostinho is able to analyze and correlate all of this in a such a clever way instead of just giving me ac and ferrous sulfate as they did before; Some vitamins and things are still VERY deficient, whether I like it or not, I suffered for a long time and continue to suffer.

It is difficult and time-consuming to repair an organism like this. My iron remains extremely deficient because even though the implant helped a little I still bleed and this continues to make me lose iron, so I need to be able to get a new implant as soon as possible

I preferred to prioritize paying for the injectables first because the body absorbs them faster and that was what I really needed (not that I don't need the manipulated ones), I hope to feel better after using them

Caleb is a biomedical scientist, he did research for me and recommended licorice root tea to me through herbal medicine.
