Alas, Calvin did it! He passed his written yesterday, now lets see how he does on his drive test. Unforunately, the day he takes his drive I do not have time to go with him because I have to work at 2:30 and he takes it at 1:40. I'm hoping him and his mom stop by my work to tell me the news.
On another note, we went to the airport to pick up his mom yesterday. Me, not knowing that she would make a scene said lets get right up there so she can basically see us after all the security shit. Me, also being easily embarrassed, keep in mind. So we get up there, all these people standing around waiting for whoever they were. She, Tammy, nearly walks right past Calvin because she trying to look far ahead of us. Calvin - "Who's this stranger". She realizes it's her baby boy and jumps up and down and to say the least makes the most embarrassing scene of my life!
On top of that she ignored me because it's her baby boy and I completely understand that, but everyone was staring and she was crying and being loud and boisterous. Calvin later on told me that he even thought to himself that we should have stayed in the very back. Butthead! Nonetheless we picked mommy dearest up without any problems and she did acknowledge me as well after getting over the realization that she is here with her baby boy alas. After almost a year without seeing him.
She will stay for a week and then be picked by her sister. That very day Calvin and I and his father will be boarding a plane to Spokane. As his, Calvin, mother will be meeting us there the very next day. Calvin's brother Kaysee is graduating from college on the 12th.
All is well here. Hope everything is good with all of you.
