I'm having fun with our discussion in the philosophy group. It's hard for typed language to convey the attitude I'm speaking with, so I wanted to say I'm not being confrontational even if it sounds that way.

Also, I've happened across some of your other posts and I find that I almost always have a different take on things than you do. I think it's always good to have heavy conversations with people you disagree with so you keep a healthy intellectual humility...so, longwindedly, I'm always up for pseudo-intellectualism if you want to drop me a line on MSN or whatever. Cheers!

Also, Absolution is a fucking fantastic CD. Check out their previous one "Origin of Symmetry" if you can...it's hard to get in North America but really worth it.

I guess I don't hate old people that are normal and don't bug anyone. But I definitely hate old people that pose for photo ops with Ronald McSlimeball. I also hate old people that drive too slow.

So I guess I only hate like half of all the old people out there. I'm cool with the other non-annoying half, though.

You answered those thing pretty well. I'm thinking of answering those myself, and that's saying something.

The girl I talked about in Russo's journal is Meghan. Not only is she beautiful, but she's also a very talented trumpet player. Could I ask for anything more?

She's lovely. We've been friends since my freshman year of college, though we became really close in the last year. She's been though a few bad relationships with a couple of moron guys. In between these relationships her and I constantly dance around our strong feelings for each other. But something's keeping her from totally wanting to be with me.

I'm pretty sure it's because she's attracted to the dumb asshole guys that treat her like shit, issues having to do w ith her father, and I'm just too 'nice'. I hope someday she realizes that I'm the man, and changes her mind. Any thoughts on speeding this whole thing up would, as always, be appreciated.

I know guys that are assholes because some personal shit goes down. I hate those guys. Soemtimes, I can be one of them, though. Not usually, mind you.

I agree with you about living with other people so you can balance out anti-social tendencides. I'm anti-social too. I've thought about the long periods of solitude that come with living alone. It'd be a lot like living with my parents, and I had some periods of deep depression living with them.

I hope to stay really good friends with my roommate. Him and I can hang out, I hope, frequently after I move out. He's a good guy, but I think our friendship is gonna go down the tubes if I stay here too much longer.

My dad lost weight when he lived alone when he was my age. Since him and I are practically the same person (if you put looks aside) I find my self wanting to follow in his footsteps, thinking is desisions and consequences will will work out the exact same way for me. And a lot of times, I'm right. Still, is it wrong to thin like this?
