My little sister had kidney blockage when she was an infant. She had to get her kidney pulled when she was only a few weeks old. She almost died. But, thankfully, she didn't, and she's now sleeping peacefully on my couch as I'm typing this.

Maybe I'm nostalgic because I just watched "Butterfly Effect" for the first time.
As for your godson, modern medicine will take very good care of him I'm sure. Afterall, my sister's ordeal was 18 years ago. Austin will be fine.
