about 90% done, have the structured wire guy coming out along with the blinds people this week. Then I have to move the grill and my bed frame from my old apt along with 6-8 box's and I'll be all in.

yeah, i was the same way with my last place. i've lived alone for about 7 years (yeah, that means i started when i was 15, parents divorced, moved with their S.O.'s), but the first place i stayed was at my dad's house. the first place i moved into from there was in the ghetto in Gary, IN, for about 6 months. it sucked, so it wasn't my happiest of places, but after a bunch of brief couch surfing I wound up out in DeKalb. It sucked out there, but the place i had was mine. i had a lot of cool memories there too, i was bummed to leave there, especially to live with people again 
. i'm looking again though, when i finally find 'home' again it's gonna rock. so i know what you're going through man.

it really does suck man. i don't really think about it while i'm in the bathroom, but once i get out, and I realize that I have pants on and i'm not walking to my couch, that's when it hits. and also when i think to invite people over and i forget about the kids that live here, it really hits me then.
Aaaahhh!!! I'm now a home owner! Closing went smoothly! Former owners are screwing up my plans since they aren't moving out until later today, but, that's minor. Movers are coming early tomorrow morning then all I have to do is unpack and make the place mine.
