Well the family weekend was a success! My parents loved my place 
and everyone had a great time!
We went to a Japanese Bon Festival in Arlington Heights and it was really fun!
There were a bunch of drummers (I don't know what their official title was) and they were really good! I thought I was in a Godzilla movie for a moment (I'm aloud to say that since I'm half Japanese).
And the whole weekend was worth it just to see my mother smiling and dancing when the festival had everyone come out and do traditional fan and scarf dances!
So life is grand and now it's time to start making the coin to pay for everything I've done to my condo and especially for what I'm gonna have to do in the near future.

this weekend might be good.. i have an art thingy on friday evening, and just need to be sure my girl doesn't need help moving some stuff ** from Ohio ** ug.. but i told her i would help her if she needed it.. i'll let you know tomorrow.. then you can let me know.. and then we'll all know..
glad the parental visit went so well, man - you end with a sad hint of more work to come, though - did you discover more issues with the place?
