Well it's mah birfday today.

Had some drinks with mates at mine last night then went out later on. Being sung happy birthday in the middle of a night club is a slightly surreal experience. Where I live all the clubs are basically clones of eachother, playing practically the same music and the idea of a club for alternative music/people/whatever is a completely alien idea. Makes for a bit of a boring experience when you decide you don't want to drink anymore and you can't bring yourself to dance to the repeditive doof doof dance stuff. Also my mate and one of my brothers was sick with the flu and couldn't make it. Been first birthday in a couple of years my bro hasn't made it whatever I've been doing.

However less griping and more happy about the day. My mate Gabe is going to buy me a nerf pistol for my birthday. He's deciding to arm me so I can defend myself in their foam dart battles. Sounds like fun so I'm not really going to protest, even though real guns do make me a little nervous. Give me swords and daggers anyday....I like blades. What can I say, I'm a D&D geek. Rikki remembered my taste in books and she bought me a Terry Pratchett book I don't have, my nanna gave me some money and mum is paying for my flight to go see Alice Cooper in Brisbane (I'm feeling a bit overly spoiled about that).
