Hey Wait! This isn't my house... this is Work!

very clever.

I've decided that space needs to be given a more specific identification. it can't be just 'space.' each little bit'o'space has a location, and it exists in time, and it has the potential to NOT be space... therefore I think it should have it's own allocation of identity.

if you hate that, you should...

I mostly agree with the horror comments, as long as its advertised itself as suspense type horror. Nothing sucks more than seeing something that's advertised itself as a slasher/gore type flick and not getting any gore.

"The Ring", to me, was one of the more successful PG-13 'horror' movies recently. It used suspense without gore to great effect. Honestly, 'Se7en' wasn't as gory as some people remember (though it was rated 'R'). Fincher is great at letting your imagination do most of the work (especially through his excellent use of sound.)

Goddamn that Requiem. And you can tell him I said that.

Bah. Back to school next week. Thought I'd say HI before then. Wish my Sundays were still free for brunch. Maybe later. frown

Thanks for your comments. You're such a Cancer, like my sister... always saying something to make me warm and fuzzy inside.

It's been a crazy whirlwind of a time here, and I love it but damn if I've dropped off the face of the earth since then.

I miss you!

much preparation to do, much cleaning to do, much work to do, much fun to be had, little sleep to be had.

there's this scene in girl with a pearl earring... where vermeer is talking to, um, the girl, and he says 'what color are the clouds?' And she replies, 'white.......(disappointed look on his face), no, wait..... yellow, grey, blue (very not disappointed look on his face).'

I like that scene. a lot.

I had a moment of pretty intense nostalgia last night while going through some...

"used" usually gets me... oh. and so does "weird"

also, if you stare it through something odd.
-the same theory can be applied to the smell.

awareness is a vacuum, an enormous space which pulls you into it's emptiness and tries to stretch you to it's expanses. i am too aware, but will never be aware enough.

awareness is simultaneously the reason I exist, the definition of my existence, and the largest encumbrance on my existence.

awareness breeds both compassion and ambivalence within me. compassion because I know and empathize and...

Haha! I always wonder that about Tiger, too. I think he thinks they are vienna sausages.

Speaking of thinking. I like the way you think. Tell me more.

a couple of updates from the weekend/wine trip smile

First... a bitch.... now I can't even drink FUCKING WINE!!! Apparently eggs and sometimes milk are used as a protein additive to wine to leech out the tannins (sp?) from wine and improve the taste. The eggs and milk aren't actually IN the wine in the end, but for an ethical vegan such as myself, well, FUCK!...

it's been a long time since I put down a real entry. I feel like a pendulum sometimes, knowing that with the life I lead I will always end up back in this space. Work 12-14 hrs a day, party 4-6 of the remaining hours, sleep for what's left. I'm pretty sure that's not healthy.

I unfortunately don't see a break aside from my first...
