Bad News: Ow.
Good News: Percocet
Bad News: It's my right hand, and I am right handed
Good News: I use my left for....other things
Bad News: It is all aluminum and carbon fiber, so I cannot magnetically clip things to it
Good News: It is all aluminum and carbon fiber, so it is not a gazillion pounds screwed into my bones
Bad News: I can only type by hunting and pecking
Good News: On Percocet, it doesn't bother me
Bad News: It hurts enough for me to be non-functional, or I am so doped up I am non-functional
Good News: Its not like I got a job to go to (and who thought that would be a +)
Good News: Should be right as rain in four-five weeks!

oh dear what happened?
thaddeusjd:
I was minding my own business on my bike at a stoplight, when a young lady more interested in her cell phone then driving bumped me. I went ass over teakettle and landed with pretty much all my weight on my right wrist and broke it. So, I had to have a right radius distal reduction with external fixator. In people speak that means screws into my bones and the bar connects them to keep my arm in the proper alignment while it heals.
