My issue turned out to be a simple heat shield fix, which is kind of what I thought it was since the same thing happened to my Cavalier ages ago. They reattached it for free, so I promised I'd go to them next week to get my brakes fixed. Then he said, "Oh, be sure to go online and print the brake coupons."

well, the gears are marked, and I figured (D) was overdrive, but when I'm in regular drive, my engine sounds like it's in too low of a gear no matter what I do.
and the damn thing requires midgrade, so you know I do not appreciate the gas mileage I've been getting running around in overdrive!
