Perhaps a part time career in dramatics? Maybe you could go on a painting holiday? Or you might dabble in performance art?

The creative world is full of possibilities. I hope you find some.

Erin Go Braugh!

Do you ever listen to Sound Opinions on NPR? They had a very cool segment about "lost" either Jewish or Yiddish rock (now I can't find the link). It was really cool, and included a lot of pop song interpretations.

Why for you go abroad?

Thank you. I love those roses. As it happens I needed to have a bit more identity discretion. Done and done.

I do not understand football at all. It boggles me.

You'll always keep fighting the good fight but if I can help motivate in any manner I am flattered.

I hope last night was what you needed it to be and you saved someone or someone's someone. My clean ways was a response to needing to know I have the discipline to change. Sometimes you just have to prove yourself only to yourself.

Hope you are having a beautiful long weekend!kiss

Ahhhhh - seriously? I did a performance of rape crisis center volunteers back in the day myself. Are we living the same life? Those are some pretty wild coincidences.

Did you love Berkley? I heard it is surprisingly conservative, but don't know if that is true.

I am cooking a mess of collards right now. Did your time in the south introduce you to the measuring unit of "a mess" or the wonder of collards? Nom nom nom.

mmmmmmmm, Elvis. I seriously adore Elvis.

Christmas is not my best time, but this year was ok. I hope yours was wonderful!
pervyoldguy:
I haven't followed the pros since I stopped playing that game, basically. I watch socially, of course, if it's on somewhere, I follow along. But I have no idea who the players are or how the teams are doing. The game itself is tolerable, even absorbing if the play is good, but the inane commentary, giant whooshing logos, and idiotic commercials for beer and trucks and sports drinks get on my nerves royally.

We used to watch Ohio State football at our house, but then OSU cut a deal with cable, which we don't have, so the games aren't available for the most part. I have realized I don't miss them, at all.

For a while I was listening to the Cavs basketball on radio. This was a few years ago, when they'd interrupt the local Air America to play the games. This was at the beginning of LeBron (sic?) James' career, and I had major sloth issues then, so a lot of the time I'd just lie around listening. That was ok, but then I got busy and forgot about that.

There are also Reds games, and baseball is easy to listen to while you're getting shit done, or to watch if you're trying to fall asleep while drinking beer, but the Reds have sucked so bad for so long, that's not fun anymore, either. So basically, no sports here.

How about you? Tuned constantly to ESPN, I'll bet (har).
