Perhaps I can recommend RJ Anderson's Faery series (Knife, Rebel, Arrow, Swift Nomad, Torch), excelllent young adult fiction that pulls no punches. And then, of course, there's Martin Millar's The Good Fairies of New York, very funny, like most of his work. And I'll just toss in his Kalix trilogy for good measure (Lonely Werewolf Girl, Curse of the Wolf Girl, The Anxiety of Kalix the Werewolf) which looks at lycathropy from a werewolf perspective rather than a bitten person perspective. ❤️
