Holy good gawrsh darn...its been FOREVER since I've been on this damn thing. Don't really remember why I left...oh yea, overdraft fees on credit cards! Little plastic devils...Anyway, finances are in order for the most part, save for the car I bought not to long ago but I REALLY needed a new one. So what has happened during my little hiatus thus far (in case...

Yea, i share it with one other person but we're on differnt work schedules so it's all good. In the past week that I've been here I've only seen her 3...

Dum dum dum DUUUMMMM!!! Ok, enough of the goofy razzamatazz...whatever that means. So I'm doing a bit better given my current situation.I've accepted the fact that there is absolutley nothing I do about my parents getting divorced next year. There was nothing I could do that thanksgiving 4 years ago when they told me they were getting seperated except to hope that they could be...

Sorry to hear all that's going down with your family. My parents got divorced the summer before I decided to move to Carbondale... Well, it was my mother that decided to get the divorce. Even though I wasn't sure what to think or say, I knew that it was their responsibility, their relationship - not mine.

As for Maryland, I've been to there only once. My father use to drive for Diamond Comics, which is/was a comic book distributor in Baltimore. My family got to stay at the general manager's apartment when we went there (I think I was 6 or 7 at the time). I wish I could have gone there when I was older so I could remember some of the things. I've always have wanted to go to D.C. also, but that will have to wait for at least a couple of years...

Have fun!

Ok, so I'm super excited and super bummed out all the the same time.

Excited because...
1. Finally have my own place biggrin 3 bed, 1.5 bath, shared with my best bud, my cat and a dog, moving in begining of the Dec.
2. Started 'talking' to a guy I work with. He's pretty awesome, known him for about a year and he's just as goofy,...

BLAH BLAH BLAH...

Ok, so haven't been on here a while. Pretty much got bogged down with trying to balance work, family stuff, social life, and volunteer sttuff. Which, actually, I never really volunteered, I was just told by my boss it would be a good thing to do since my performance report is coming up, (hint hint). Anyway, I think the last time I...

What classes? Well, this semester I have an Engineering Graphics class, College Physics I, English II, Architectural History and Theory, Mechanical Computer-Aided Drafting, a Mechanical and Electrical Systems class, and doing an internship with a licensed surveyor in Mt. Vernon. I am working on an Associates Degree in Surveying Technology while earning an Occupational Certificate in Architectural Technology and Computer-Aided Drafting...

Next semester I'll only have 12 credit hours, so I will have plenty of time for other things - FINALLY!!!

One of my friends/old band mates and I have been trying to get a band together and I think we might have one lined up, so I am sure I'll be counting down the end of the Fall semester before long.

How about you? What classes would you want/need to take? Any idea where you would like your schooling to lead you? I am kind of thinking about getting a Bachelors Degree in Vocational Education (since I already have an Associates Degree in Computer and Electronic Engineering Technology), but I am not sure yet.

Rebirth

Like the phoenix, we fly then fall,
Only to be born of the flames of our demise.
Here, a new hope, a second chance to set things right
A new life, new story, new disguise.

We shake off the dust of our past troubles,
Such things which brought us to our knees,
Yet we find the strength to stand once more
And spread our...

How have you been? I wish I could write something more meaningful like that, but all I can do is "tongue-in-cheek" lines. Even with my lack of skill, I missing having some free time at a job that I could write...

Ok so first blog ever and I really can't think of what to write about. I'm mainly just doing this out of boredom and an attemp to put off sleep for a bit longer (yay night shift work!!). Honestly, all I can really think about is how much pain I'm in after these past 2 days. No, I didn't get hurt or anything, I just...
