The hockey season starts too early. It shouldn't begin until December.

My friend and former co-worker Dayton will be visiting from Maine this weekend. I think that he plans to drink a lot of beer, watch football, and go to the strip club. So rare is the guy's weekend in my life---I'm quite looking forward to it. More people should visit me here. After all, I *do* have a two bedroom, two bathroom place.



And, come Tuesday, HolaGatita and I will be meeting up with the visiting dmac for dinner. Sweet.



For quite some time, I've thought that I might shave off my raggedy facial hair if I lost a few pounds. I never seem to do it, of course, and I'm not sure that I should ever give up the hair equivalent of Linus's blanket. What's my point? Truth be known, I don't have one.
