"Playing with myself, playing with myself, playing with myself................."
Shit, don't you EVER knock?
Okay, as long as you're here.
As we all go through the ho-hums and humdrum of our daily existence, that existential exercise we call life, who among us has not had the occasion where we needed to make a point?
Further, who among has not developed a verbal or visual shortcut to indicate to other parties that, "listen up mere mortals, there's a point coming"?.
Is there a phrase, a word, a kick in the groin type of signal you use when you are getting ready to make a point?
Well is there?
And I'll even answer my own question.
A. My favorite phrase is "I'll be honest with you...."
B. My older brother uses "I'll (or let's) put it this way...."
C. My younger brother's favorite is "Quite frankly..." and then he lectures you for 30 minutes. He's a teacher. It's what he does.
Hear those from us and it's head for the hills time. We're gonna make a point. We're gonna bludgeon it home.
I'll be honest with you. it's tough to put it that way, quite frankly.
I'm spent. Thanks for playing along, Big GINTA.
Seacrest out.

My phrase, which is condecsending and people HATE that I use this (to be honest I think I would hate it if people used it on me too) is: ''Listen...'' or I'll start by your full name. hah.
