My father's funeral is tomorrow at 10AM. I'm taking SG with me in spirit because, as I've related on occasions ad nauseum. this community and the people in it have kept me alive (yes) and sane (more or less) for about a year now (yes, I am approaching my one year anniversary of this particular membership). I remain, then as now, eternally grateful/
You may have noticed in the last couple of days I've been all over the place, pretty much at all hours. I am trying to balance out my sadness (which I am sure I will allow to wash over me tomorrow) with the joy I feel when I\m here. I can laugh with you at your successes, cry and rail at your sadnesses and your frustrations. We are one. All for each other. Together we can make it,

My older brother, who has never expressed any kind of interest in the site, has been looking over my shoulder at some of the photos, "Are these some of your acquaintances?" he asked, "These are my friends". I tell him. So even if we don't have a new member, we do have a new friend, The pictures he saw, BTW, were of Rambo, Radeo, Alicee, Holley and Saint. Thanks guys.
I wish I had been a member when my mother died in December 2008. The spirit of this community would have a difficult time, I daresay impossible time, infinitely more manageable,
