So I saw a little questionnaire that a few of my fav SGs had done and I thought, "hey, why should they have all the fun!" Here goes:
- 1. First app you check when you wake up in the morning?
Probably Facebook.
2. First broken bone?
I'm fortunate in that I have yet to break a bone. I told a friend this the other day, and he said I should knock on wood for good luck. I'm thinking luck has nothing to do with it. I just don't tend to do stupid things that would put my body in harm's way!
3. First foreign country you ever visited?
That would be Germany when I was young. Went to Munich with my mom to visit my grandmother for the first and last time. She ended up passing a few months later and my mom flew back alone for the funeral. I got to meet uncles, aunts, and cousins, and I visited Neuschwanstein, which I fell in love with. It was the last time I went to Germany and haven't seen that side of the family in many years. My uncle passed a few weeks ago and my mom took my niece with her over there. Glad my niece got the experience to travel over there. I did take one more trip to Europe back in high school and we visited London, Madrid, and Paris. Awesome experience.
4. First time I ever got into trouble at school?
I was a goody two-shoes in school. I know I did get into trouble once, but I think it was back in elementary school and I can't remember what it might have been for.
5. My first BF/GF?
I have yet to have the pleasure
6. My First car?
A 1990 Plymouth Acclaim. White. It was a hand me down from my dad.
7. My first celebrity crush?
I think it was Melissa Joan Hart. She used to be on an old show on Nickelodeon called Clarissa Explains it All. I still think she is rather cute.
8. My first crush?
Jackie H from elementary school. Probably the prettiest girl in 5th grade, and many boys would vie for her attention. I asked her out to go to the roller skating rink in the next town over, and I was shocked when she agreed. Unfortunately, I got stood up, and I decided that since I already had tickets I might as well not waste them and I spent the day skating by myself. My luck with women went downhill from there!
9. My first ever cell phone?
It was a flip phone I got from AT&T
10. My first ever kiss?
Still waiting on that one.
11. My first fear?
Well, most kids have some idea when they are young about what they want to be, whether it is a policeman, firefighter, doctor, or whatever. I wanted to be a pilot. That dream lasted until the first time I rode an airplane. Turbulence when flying freaked me out and while I am older and wiser, I am still a very nervous flyer. Nope, don't particularly like flying.
12. My first heartbreak?
Well, back in college I started chatting online with a young lady named Katie from Chicago. She was a sweet, although peculiar young lady. We would chat regularly online, which was a highlight of my day. You have to understand that up to this point my experience chatting with ladies was very limited, as I was (and still am) rather shy and keep to myself. I am also a bit of an overthinker. So when she confessed that she was starting to fall in love with me, I kind of freaked out a bit. I thought it probably wouldn't work because I lived in Kentucky and she was in Illinois. She probably wouldn't like me if she met me in person. She could probably do better. Am I in love with her, and how can I be sure? We're still young and in college and I have no idea what my future looks like. Anyways, I got word that my cat back home had passed away and I was pretty upset to say the least. Wanted to chat with Katie, hoping to hear consoling words, but she chose that time to start an argument, and I ended up breaking things off.
13. My first Instagram post?
I don't do Instagram
14. My first job?
I think my first job was at the local hospital. My mom had worked as a supervisor in one of the departments and thought it would be a good idea in high school to try being a "candy-striper" before joining the workforce. Candy striper is the term for hospital volunteers because we would wear striped red and white outfits, like walking candy canes. In any case, after that I ended up getting my first paid job working in the dietary department. I was the one who would travel floor to floor and deliver food to patients. I would later come back to get the trays, then end the shift washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen. I worked part time after school.
15. My first language?
English. Studied Spanish in high school and college, but because I don't really have too many Spanish speaking friends, I kind of lost most of my Spanish skills. Don't speak German, but hope to learn someday.
16. My first piercing and when did I get it?
No piercings
17. My first sexual experience?
By choice or chance, it hasn't happened yet. Not sure which one it is anymore. It's on my bucket list.
18. My first tattoo?
No tatts
19. The first person I talked to today?
It's pretty early in the morning when I'm doing this, but it will probably be my mom. Or my nieces.
20. The first person you text when something exciting happens?
My supervisor from work. Super cool guy and my best friend there. Honestly doesn't feel like work. Feels more like just going to hang out with my friend, and we just happen to get paid for it.
21. The first thing I do every morning?
Check my phone, probably like 99% of the population
22. The first thing I do when I get home?
Fix some food.
23. The first time you ever got drunk?
I don't drink. I had a sip of alcohol when I was a child and I never wanted to touch the stuff again. Did try a glass of wine once when I was younger, but I just sipped a little bit. Didn't have enough to get drunk. Yeah, alcohol isn't my cup of tea.
24. My first time on a plane?
When I was a kid, probably flying to visit family....somewhere.
