'Well.
This story is true, you know? Once, a very long time ago, before men walked as they do now, there was a magical Owl. The magical Owl was the lord of all he could see, and he saw far from his place high in the tree tops.
The Wolf was the magical Owls best friend, but the Wolf was sad because he couldnt catch any pray to eat. One night, the Wolf asked the Owl to give it fangs of fire, so it could hunt better than any other animal in the forest.
The Owl nodded, and granted the Wolf its fangs of fire, and the wolf ate heartily that night, but feasted also on the hearts of the animals he killed, which was a grave sin to commit in the Owls forest.
The Owl asked the wolf why it was he decided to devour the hearts of the animals in the forest. The Wolf said simply that he did it, because he could. The Owl told the wolf to be gone from the forest, but the wolf, enraged, lashed out at the Owl, but couldnt reach him high atop the trees.
Using its magic, The Owl trapped the wolf in a cage made of tree roots far beneath the forest, but the Owl was sad, now. The Wolf might have taken advantage of him, but he was still the only friend he had in the forest. So, the Owl vowed to never use his magic again. Instead, he made a thick fog rise up from the river that ran through the forest.
The fog was so thick, nobody could ever find the magical woods again, and the fog was all knowing, and all seeing, and anyone that tried to get into the forest had to be judged before the fog would let it in. If anyone forced their way through, the fog would push them down to feed the hungry wolf below the moist earth.
The magical Owl fell asleep and never woke up.'
