Snow is falling
all around me
children playing
having fun

it's the season
love and understanding
merry christmas everyone

When the snowman brings the snow
Well he just might like to know
He's put a great big smile on somebody's face
If you jump into your bed
Quickly cover up your head
Don't you lock the doors
You know that sweet Santa Claus in on the way

Are you hanging up a stocking on your wall?
Its the time that every Santa has a ball
Does he ride a red nosed reindeer?
Does he turn up on his sleigh?
Do the fairies keep him sober for a day?

So here it is,
Merry Christmas,
Everybodys having fun,
Look to the future now
Its only just begun.

They said there'll be snow at Christmas
They said there'll be peace on Earth
But instead it just kept on raining
A veil of tears for the Virgin's birth
I remember one Christmas morning
A winters light and a distant choir
And the peal of a bell and that Christmas Tree smell
And their eyes full of tinsel and fire
They sold me a dream of Christmas

And so this is Christmas and what have you done
Another year over; a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas, I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one, the old and the young
A Merry Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one without any fear
