Gods, this week I made a few that have just blown me away. I guess I’ll start from the beginning.
Prior to a few weeks ago, I was lax in my attention to this site and the people on it. Some time ago - about a couple of weeks, maybe - I was in a really, really dark place, and I wrote a blog about it called “Tired”. I wasn’t expecting any responses, really. I just felt that it would help if I put my thoughts out there. I wasn’t prepared for what happened next.
@headshot responded almost immediately, sympathizing with my woes. It helped to talk to someone other than my already close friends and family who got what I was going through to some degree. For that alone, I’m grateful.
Because of that interaction, I decided to spend more time on this site, liking photoshoots and making comments here and there. One such comment caught the attention of both @cheshire_ and @spectral_line. I won’t get into the specifics of what happened afterwards here, but it blew me away and got me to rethink a few things. This community has so much to offer, and they, along with @headshot, proved it in a heartbeat.
Since then, I may have become a little… addicted to the site. 😅 I have also been in contact with other great people on here. @warrior311, @mirameow, and @unita, I’m looking at you.
@missy, what can I say. You’ve made and nourished an amazing site, so thank you for that.
That’s about all I got for now regarding my connections here, but I strongly doubt this will be the end of them.
