A few weeks back @rambo and @missy asked us to write about our Halloweens and costumes. This is really just my opportunity for a photo dump mostly!

Halloween planning began for me back on September 17th when I ordered the masks for my husband and I. There was a little bit of concern that they would arrive on time because the website warned 'October/November delivery,...

Damn! Looking good in that corset! (I may have a thing for pretty women in corsets though) ;)
catdad:
Long time and no update.  I hope you are well.

I take the entire month of October as an excuse to listen to my Halloween playlist on Pandora. It's become an interesting collection of old classics, psychedelic, jazz, movie soundtracks, and instrumental.

What are your favorite songs to get you in the spooky mood?

1. Misfits - Halloween (who doesn't enjoy the occasional candied apples and razor blades?)

2. Ministry - Every Day is Halloween...

Any ideas...pfft @twotoast! This isn't amateur night. I ordered the main piece to my costume on September 17th. The husband and I are going as Nameless Ghouls, members of the band Ghost

My bad I should have known you of all people would be totally organised way in advanced! I shall look forward to seeing you guys in all your scary glory!

Long, drawn out story short: group of guys check in late, the guy paying for everything is clearly loaded, in cash and on booze. I treat them the same as any other guests. Guy repeatedly offers me $50 and I accept. Then he starts to get a little too comfortable around me. We talk and he gives me $100 (after trying to put it down

What an asshole. You probably should have maced him just to teach him it's not cool to treat people like that! I'm sure your boss would approve! 👍🏼

Some men just have no empathy and no real concept of much of a jerk they are.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be an actress. I always loved dressing up, playing pretend, making up stories, and of course, getting the attention. Of course I gravitate towards fictional characters and their worlds!

1. Wicked/Black Lady from Sailor Moon. She is the grown up form of Mini Moon and all her negative feelings. She felt unloved and abandoned and became twisted.

I love that you had to combine Belchers to make you. My kids are always trying to decide which combination of the kids they are. The little one is definitely Tina with a splash of Gene

*hug* You are indeed loved and appreciated. I consider you a friend and look forward to giving you a big Canadian Bear Hug someday. As for characters that describe me, honestly I have no idea. Who do you think fits me?

I dreamt I went pink but it as based on how many people recommended you and then you had to log in and defend your reason. Every girl had a meter bar on their page that showed how close they were to going pink.

I really should be focusing on homework...

Don't get me wrong; I love the warmth and long days of summer but the crowds by my work are slowly dispersing and we are drawing closer and closer to.....HALLOWEEN!!

I've always loved the fall (Halloween) season. Dressing up in costumes was my favorite thing as a kid and pretty much remains so in my adult life, I just find ways to make it work

My favorites... ? Crunchy leaves, long walks in color saturated woods, distant wispy thread of a campfire on the horizon, crisp air, the shocks and funny things static electricity brings with added clothing layers, baking smells... Yes baking! I go crazy baking things just for the aromas - but of course then I have to eat it all gaining weight! That's a not so enjoyable part but it all goes together!
draybobo:
Love the reference to Something Wicked This Way Comes, one of my favorite movies as a kid. Probably because I also love fall and Halloween. And no doubt @robertbluesman with the food.

If I ever had the money, I would surely hire myself a paramedic to have on staff at all times. I'm insanely talented at hurting myself in the most mundane situations.

When I was 19, I was driving down to my ex's house in San Diego. He says to me over the phone "pick up some crackers that you would eat." I'm pissed because I'm...
