cracking Morrissey parody... tongue

These days, more famous for this. (I think it's a little worrying that "these days" start in 1980, and end not long after...)

And, in direct line of descent... hm. maybe still a little stillted...

okay then

No video. Not a bad thing, IMO.

I doubt Moz had to look hard to find a pompadour as an inspiration. I sported one in the 80s. wink

A better Cadillac song:

Two.

Three.

Un-numbered.

Zero.

Five.

One.

Very white, I'm sure. But I didn't recognise myself, in a mirror, this evening, at home; normal clothing. I don't know if this is illness or insight or what.

ahh...good to hear from you sir...it is indeed a stonking word and one that they have earned and most certainly merit. Hope all is well in the world with you.
hunkpapa:
now that you've mentioned the Me-262, I can see that... hadn't thought of it before!

I see what you mean about the Tu-141; it is quite sinister-looking.

Bwah ha ha!! Thats a very amusing link!! biggrin

Now, in answer to your question, the five YouTube videos about Aleister Crowley, which I have linked to in my blog, are segments of a TV documentary with a total viewing time of around 50-60 minutes.
ascanius:
We did it! Same sex marriage is now legal in Vermont. I think we're at the vanguard of a national change here.

That video is... shocking!

If you've only got time to watch one, make it the last one. But do watch it. Especially, watch the David. (And the blonde doing backing vocals with the guitarist.) Srsly.

I like this. It's hard to find.

This is more their style.

This isn't. I like it, as well; it has a peculiar groove.

'Martian' remains their track I love most. Can't find it on YT.

is your axe like this one?

also yes, you're right. that there was someone who has spent too long playing playstation fighting games.

Thanks, I think I will. smile And thanks for introducing me to that group, too. Now that I'm back I'm starting to remember some of the things that I loved about this site, like all of the good music I've discovered being here that I wouldn't have otherwise. Of course, it would be much better if either the web site didn't have so much damn Java, or I had a new computer. blackeyed

Thanks, it's good to be back. smile I didn't really realize how much I missed SG until I came back. Maybe I'll stick around, if I can find a job to pay for my renewal within the next 3 months. blackeyed

Re: Cold War Kids, very cool - thanks to you and Hunkpapa for sharing the link.

Okay... I have been wondering, recently, what - if anything - can be done to bring people to the realisation that we will have to cut our energy use dramatically; because we can't go on as we are, and we can't deny the aspirations of poorer nations. Frankly, I think we're fucked; everything we've ever worked for, all our hopes and dreams, most if not...

I can't remember exactly what your question was but I deleted it because I didn't know what you were talking about at first. Would you mind replying in the thread? I would be glad to respond but I am not that comfortable with the blog/comment thing yet because I don't fully know how to use it.

Hopefully there will be more like him to come forward and detail the crimes committed there.

Still recommending Ken MacLeod (per last post).

Meanwhile, this was my favourite TV programme when I was a kid. Fabulous. I wish it was still on.

Recent reading: Ken MacLeod, "Learning The World".

Excellent. Carefully crafted, well-populated, strong on evocative detail, and evokes a fine sense of the alien (human or not).

Recommended without reservation. Buy this one.

We have a little confusion here- this is not a Spanish omelet! Anyhow, I'm a very big fan of eggs. With yogurt sounds very interesting, I don't know about that! I know I've enjoyed sour cream with them of course, or with a side of cottage cheese. Never thought of yogurt. But it sounds yummy.

Yes, yes! I'd let you make it for me if we had a sleep over!
