Did something happen to Sash? I try to go to her page and it's totally blank, and photos of her that I swear I favorited have disappeared from my favorites.

EDIT: It's fixed now, but that was weird.

A preliminary search of the intertubes reveals nothing conclusive. A flotilla of scientists stand ready to press buttons and turn knobs in an attempt to find out more. Current theory being circulated: a cave demon is to blame.

Stay tuned for further developments.
scylis:
Found her.

Less than a week until vacation! Going to San Francisco May 8 through 13. Going to see the Padres at the Giants at least once during the trip, and also drink lots of local beer (Anchor Brewing tour already scheduled). This trip is way, way overdue.
toothpickmoe:
That's awesome, enjoy. Anchor was just sold, so I hope they stay true.

I try to update the blog for the first time in forever, and it gets eaten when the site goes down for maintenance. Figures. Anyway, the gist is that I didn't see the doctor as planned today, because Blue Cross's phone system is too convoluted for the receptionist to verify my insurance. Boy, I'm glad America has the world's greatest health care! whatever

I assure you, we did. wink

There are few things as gratifying as sending the Dodgers home with their tails between their legs, but sending them home with unopened champagne is one of those things.

Naw. Caught a newbie this morning. Been here since March or something, but hadn't infested the boards yet.

Martin's too easy.
toothpickmoe:
Right? We're not totally out of the woods yet, but he's so much better than we thought he would be.

Padres 7, Cheaters Dodgers 4. It was hot and I was surrounded by Dodgers fans, but I wouldn't trade seeing a game like that for the world.

P.S. Everth Cabrera? This is a guy to watch.

I had a terribly depressing epiphany regarding certain people in my social circles, but it's 1:30 AM and I'm not sure if it's as accurate as it feels right now. We'll see if my thoughts remain come morning.

Also, while my arm is improved, it still continues to hurt like a son of a bitch.

Yes, Jeanine in particular (being 18 and all) made me feel like a dirty old man. At least Melissa is a fully grown woman.

I don't understand how Caitlin can do some of the shit she does. My wife made a good point that she's like a younger Melissa. I can see it.

Randi = so strangely NFM. Poor thing.

Yeah, we seriously need some Melissa ballerina action.

I keep hearing this about Karla and it's bumming me out. Oh well, it's not like I haven't had my heart broken by this show before...I wonder if those screencaps actually exist...
subrosa:
We're not going to catch the bums during the regular season. We don't have the horses. I'd love to see it happen, but we're not that kind of club and frankly they are.

However, we're going to win the season series by damned sights. And if we manage to sneak into October... look out. We've got the sort of pitching that'll scare the HGH out of ya. Timmy, Cain, Unit to start a 5 game set? Yes, thank you.

I got to see Jonathan Coulton (with Paul and Storm) in concert tonight. If you're thinking I'm a lucky son of a bitch who saw a spectacular show, you'd be thinking right.

Indeed. So awesome to see Katee's roommate back too. Very early favorite for me.
toothpickmoe:
Thank you, sir. I indeed did.

Hey look, I actually took photos in San Francisco! Most of those are from the California Academy of Sciences, which was really fucking cool.

Pretty much. Though I finally finished losing all the weight I gained when I went on birth control, so I dare say I'm even smoking hotter. tongue

For the best. I encourage you to continue to make poor use of that feature even.

Got up at ass o'clock (4:30) this morning to catch a plane to San Francisco. Dropped my bag at the hotel, got coffee, and then wandered around until MOMA opened. Spent a couple hours there, grabbed lunch, then checked into the hotel, where my feet are now recovering. Then off to BBQ at a friend's place.

I decided to splurge a little and fly Virgin America to San Francisco. I will arrive 4/25 at 8:05 AM and depart 4/28 at 6 PM. I'm counting the days.

Now, to decide if I want to splurge enough for a hotel room near Union Square, or just crash on a friend's couch.

I'm flying from San Diego to San Francisco at the end of April. Virgin America is $20 more than Southwest for the round trip. I've never flown Virgin before. Is it worth it?

It's four classes. They can range from 3-5 unit classes but these are all 4 unit classes.

What are you up in the Bay Area for? That's where I'm from. smile

Thanks for the blog comment; please do leave a comment on the set when you get a chance to look at it. Poor little thing needs help. smile

Comic-Con 4-day passes sold out today. Over four months beforehand. It sounds like I was about thirty minutes too late. frown

I'm poor. I can't go to anything fun like Coachella or Comic-Con this year. No pity from me! wink

Thank you for pointing out the UI ignorance. I wanted to, but I'm already perceived as the Big Meanie. wink
