So I bought tickets today. I'm going to be doing something for the first time on November 17. I'm travelling for a concert. Of course I'm also following a band for the first time also. NIN in Edmonton on Nov 16, followed by the same show in Calgary on the 17. Also first time in that other Alberta city.

Vancouver also has probably the highest proportion of minorities originating from the Arab penninsula (though I'd bet Toronto has the most overall), so is also statistically likely to have a sleeper operative, or be more likely to 'blend in' to the local colour.

But its crazy out of hand. I have already heard accounts of transit police stopping people because other passengers mistake their ipods for detonation devices whatever People just get anstsy and think that people are out for them. When I was in high school in Saskatoon and the first Gulf war broke out, a teacher told us we should be vigilant because there was a military base in Dundurn, Sask. that could be a target. A TEACHER, for chrissakes.

I bet the terrorists are kicking themselves for putting out that list saying they would attack Canada. "Aw, darn, we actually have to attack them now to keep up appearances?" Maybe they'll just try to take out one of our embassies somewhere. Not that that's good, but if it has to be something I'd prefer that.

Given that liberals are necessarily optimistic about people, I'm not really surprised with the discussion in the HP group of this website. I think it odd that they cling to the hope that certain characters are not really evil, and that others really are infallible.
