You're not doing yourself any favours there. French fries are my mortal enemies.

No more work for Snake. Laid off. Time to suckle from the governments teat.

It's weird to have days off. I feel like I have so much time and nothing to fill it now.

So that must mean it's time to start brewing. I invested in a kegging system and temperature control system recently. Should be here on monday. Essentially the TCS overrides the compressor...

The giant kegerator sounds like a major technological breakthrough.

Edited to add: I had some Uinta Crooked Line Labyrinth Black Ale, on tap, last night. I think you'd like it a lot. It's pretty x-treme, in a good way.

Yeesh. Well, best of luck to ya. And here's to you brewing some tasty, tasty, uh...brews.

I tend to be a person who gets very attached to plans or notions of events, be they small or large. All of my friends and loved ones are very far from me, as they always tend to be, so generally I'm living my life alone and have been for many years. So when I get the opportunity to see someone I care about I...

Well, NOT LIVING IN CORVALLIS would be a start. And no, I'm not talking about California.
mistersatan:
Oh, I know. And believe me, I'd rather see you in California than miserable.

Been awhile since a list.

1 - I love campfire smell.
2 - I've only been stung by a bee once. And I didn't die. Go me.
3 - Old stuff>new stuff
4 - I turn down the heat so I can make a blanket cocoon.
5 - I had mono when I was 17. Didn't get sick after that at all for 8 years....

So I did it. It took eight and a half months. It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to get here but I did it. I finally lost 100 pounds. I'm not thin by any means. Not nearly. I definitely still qualify as a fatty-fat-fat. But I'm a lot more healthy. Probably the most fit I've ever been in my entire life as...

That is so amazingly awesome! Congrats.
Also, those voices, yeah, they make meds for that. wink

I think there needs to be more of a selection of artisanal ales available to the public. It seems like all the microbrews are ambers and stouts and the domestics corner the market on the lighter beers. I mean, PBR serves it's purpose, but what am I supposed to drink when I roast a free-range chicken with rosemary and thyme and it needs the perfect compliment? PBR can't always cut it. 100lbs?! Holy Shit!

Alright, enough feeling dumpy.

Tell me something shitty to eat. You know why.

Totino's Party Pizzas are my go to feel-like-shit-before-and-after meal, preferably with a cheap beer.
silversurfer:
How about Jack in the Box tacos? They're bad by any objective measure, but I always found them to be really tasty.

Unfortunately there aren't any Jack in the Boxes around here any more, so I haven't had one in years.

It's becoming obvious here in the glorious land of Cascadia that summer is waning and fall is on the rise. Thank god. I really hate the heat. A lot. I sweat at 70 degrees for gods sake. Plus fall is just better. The green comes back and the leaves change. The evenings are scented with the aroma of wood-burning stoves. So wonderful.

It was a...

Sounds like you're getting ready to live forever.
Brew something with star anise, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Something that goes good with squash.

Whoa.
