Pretty confused the last couple of days. Not sure where I'm going or what I'm doing. It's like my life is on a treadmill, I run arnd run but I don't get anywhere. *sigh*
Since returning to my hometown things have been a bit stressing in general. Cleaning up my act has been a bit challenging but it's good to not run away from my problems I think. What really sucks about returning is that everyone I've known is gone now. Spread to the four corners like so many grains of pollen in the summer breeze. It seems that I've been gone not that long, but I guess it's been long enough to turn good friends into general acquaintances. I don't much care for it at all, as I'm afraid I'll go back to my introverted shell that I've worked so hard the last fews years to break free of. It doesn't help me much that my former "great love" has returned to town as well. I've seen her around and she's seen me around. Part of me would like to call her up very much or stop and talk when our paths cross, but a larger part of me keeps that from happening. Probably due to the fear of what she might say or do...afraid that it could re-open old wounds that run deep....

why did you move home?
i'm with you on the treadmill part...and i hate it that i can say that with relative ease....
maybe if you set a goal on when you were getting yourself out of there and where you need to go...it might help you keep things in perspective and give you something positive to look forward to? of course i don't know your whole situation/s but i have kinda been in a situation such as yours...
i am about to move back home myself..and it was the people that i knew there and little bits of me that got me to leave in the first place....however, with a almost 6 months of hindsight and about a milion emails later...i kinda realized that some things were just more important than i thought they were, as well as irreplaceable...
