no need to worry about losing the ear...I think my biggest fear is the hole closing up. in which case I wait a while (until the cold season has ended) and pierce it again.

unfortunately, the one piercing I had (ear lobe) seemed to be a magnet for infection. if I was sick, it got infected. I hope the same is not happening for the cartiledge, and its just an isolated incident!

I had this huge mega blog ready to post that was soul searching and (I thought) explained some of rhe events that "formed" me. Then, I had this near "religious" vision which led me to the first 2 minutes of the following. I erased mega-blog.

I live here. Where it is going to be over 70 degrees. Where I will wear shorts outside, and be ok with that. Where the only snow and cold I see is on the weather channel. I might go swimming later too tongue biggrin

I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but it was partly cloudy and windy today tongue biggrin I'm not missing the storms hitting at home right now biggrin

You should be safe coming, the pope no longer gives blessings on individual weddings anymore, only group audiences that people buy tickets for. Besides we may plan the wedding for when the pope is at his summer place, because he can hold a mass at anytime, which would result in the wedding mass being moved to annother day. We actually have to p[ick three dates because of this possibility.

We would much rather people give a donation to their favorite charity than give a wedding gift smile
