Saturday was the day for a trip to the Petersen Automotive Museum for a lowrider exhibition. I think the lowrider thing is bigger in L.A. than it is most places. The exhibition was cancelled, but I still had a fun day at the museum. They change things around often, so it gives me plenty of reason to go back.

Let's see where next

That’s awesome Franny!

Yesterday's adventure was a trip to the California Science Center to check out the new King Tut exhibit. I am not an uber Egypt fan, but my father was before he passed away. I wanted to take the chance try to see what about it fascinated him. The exhibit was cool. It had a lot of artifacts that had never been out of Egypt...

So the quiet nights are slowly starting to go away. Tonight I went over to Pomona after work to see the band Haim with one of my buddies. He has a crush on the girls in the band. I had seen them before, but he was pumped to be there.

This weekend will feature mummies and lowriders. More adventures to follow!

So this week really is the beginning of year for me because the baseball season started yesterday. It is an annual vacation for me. The weather is good so I can hang around the house and enjoy the view.

I bought the new Far Cry and MLB The Show games to keep my occupied before the baseball starts for the day. Far Cry should be

The last full week of winter was quiet for the most part on my end. It was all work stuff. I saw two movies. The Tomb Raider one was not that good. I enjoyed 7 Days in Entebbe more, but I can see why film critics didn't love it.

Last night I went to high school basketball, since it was the state semifinals. My...

I think I might be weird because I like driving around on rainy days. It may be because there are so few of them in Southern California.

I went to The Grove in midtown L.A. the other day for an event by Nike for the launch of a new design for the Nike Cortez shoe. It was designed by the tennis player Maria Sharapova

Last weekend after I got home from Sacramento, I had a good uncle day. I took both nephews to see Royal Blood and Queens of The Stone Age. It was the first concern for the younger one. The fellas had a fun night from what I can tell, but with them being a couple of teenagers, you never can tell.

This weekend will be back

Jealous!

So last week was spent on the road in the city of Sacramento, the state capitol of California, for a work trip. The work part was silly because I didn't need to be there. I just messed around during that part of the day. On the plus side, we finished early each day, so it meant time for other stuff. On the night we

This was a bit of a trying week, or more specifically the last few days. I had been floating along until Thursday, when my cleaning lady asked me if I was ready for Valentine's Day next week. I snapped at her and told her in Spanish I don't have a wife or girlfriend, so it doesn't mean anything. Ever since I have...

Being single sucks, being with the wrong person sucks. There are so many pros and cons to both. If you truly feel like it’s time for some changes, do it! Just don’t let it be because everyone is a little extra lovey this month. 🙂

@mesmeric It isn't just because of the month, but it does show me what the score really is.

So this week marks beginning of February, which is usually where my year basically begins. The last week was work and high school basketball. Friday was a local rivalry. My old school won pretty easily.

Yesterday was a bigger event I go to each year. The talent seemed a bit lower this year. Still a decent day.

The Lakers cheerleaders are part of the entertainment

This has been a lowkey weekend relaxing at home. The past couple of days have been a bit of living on Lonely Avenue, bur I am doing what I can to keep the negative vibes at bay. I went to watch Maze Runner on Friday and Hostiles earlier today. Neither movie will be in my all-time top ten films. Other than that it was lots...

It was a pretty slow week, all things considered. There was the regular mix of work, basketball, and movies.

The big thing that happened at work was one of my staff retired. He is 73, so it was time for him to be off enjoying life. At his retirement party on Friday one of my staff tried to hook up with me. I did not...
