Last night I went to a screening of a documentary about the magician/comedian The Amazing Johnathan. The film is a trip. He said he is dying, but he has outlived his prognosis. You can't really tell if it is real or of he was faking the whole thing. He had multiple people trying to make documentaries at the same time. He is quite a character....

Last night was a better night than I figured it was going to be. I went to a premiere of a documentary about ZZ Top. After work, it was pizza for dinner.

After dinner was the screening of the film. The guys from the band came out and did a quick Q&A. Funny thing was they hadn't seen the film and watched from the crowd.

I had a decent escape from the office the other day. I worked until noon and then left for some adventure. First stop was Felipe's for a French dip sandwich. The place is an L.A. landmark. The kicker is they are old school enough they still have pay phones!

Next was a trip over to Hollywood to go in Amoeba records. I did good my

Yesterday was a decent day. I took my nephew out for some adventure. First stop was the California Science Center. I wanted to watch the movie about Apollo 11 in IMAX. Funny thing was the kid slept through the whole film. I guess he is a power napper. At least he wasn't the annoying Germans who wouldn't shut up behind me. My nephee felt bad...

Yesterday was a full day of uncle duty. My nephew wanted to go with me on one of my daily adventutes. We started out by going Dreamscape on Century City. It is a virtual reality kind of advnture place. He went on sea adventure and went on the one that more like Indiana Jones. They were fun quick experiences.

After that, we went to The

Saturday was a fun time on Sunset Boulevard. I started the day with the EA Play event at The Hollywood Palladium.

There was some five a side soccer games going on.

The talk show host/comedian, Trevor Noah, turned up to talk about the new FIFA game.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Juju Smith-Shuster was there discussing the John Madden football game.

I did get to play

It was a long work week to close out the month of May. Outside of the work stuff, I did mix in two of my favorite hobbies.

The New York Mets, my favorite baseball team, were in town for the week, so I got over to Dodger Stadium to watch them play. They are mediocre, as usual, this season, but at least I managed to...
