this is our first day of really bad snow...
I'm ready for it to be over now, thanks.

I lost my new warcraft subscription card.
...TRAGIC

I wish omegle counted as being social.
I love that I can talk to strangers in Ireland for hours, but I'm petrified to leave my own house because I might run into someone I know.
WHAT THE MONKEY BALLS??...

random - but we loved it!
sorry t'hear 'bout the Diet Dr. P - and never heard of "omegle" before. ...maybe you just like strangers better than friends? "yay" for unique snowmen! kitties vs. plants may be a factor. you found one of those rare "deviant" furbies, I guess a mutation?!?
( just a few random comments wink )

On December 20th, 2011, 5 days before Christmas, my 49 year old Father passed away to pancreatic cancer. He had been the lead singer of the heavy metal band Aesthesia since the 80's. He never gave up on his passion for music.
When I was 2 years old, Dad and Aesthesia were touring in Texas. My father wrote me a song while on tour, called...

Thank you for your words.
I must say, it's very odd how I've automatically bonded more with my friends who have lost a parent. Such a sad thing to have in common.
I'm sorry that you know how it feels -.-
theaceface:
Well there's nothing like a tragedy to bring out the best and the worst in people. Especially losing a parent....everyone will have to go through it at some point, but when you're young, it just feels so unfair, like someone has stolen from you and violated you. Yeah, I know what you're going through. It was over 20 years ago that this happened to me, and I've come to accept it now, but I remember that pain. Oh wow do I ever.

If you need a kindred spirit to talk to, please do not hesitate.

Update:
Christmas was good. Spent it with my family, spent some time at the cemetery. We're all holding up pretty well. Some days are worse than others.

New Years was fairly uneventful. I mostly cleaned the house *shrug*

I've been spending most of my time cleaning and playing Warcraft.
They're fantastic distractions.
I WANT THE CELESTIAL STEED SO BAD! *falls over*
I might cave and...

There is no doubt in my mind that dad is making sure there are enough Christmas lights and tinsel in Heaven right now.

Happy Holidays, all.
My sympathies go out to anyone who has lost a loved one and cannot be with them.

Everything is stopping for him, in your world.

Such lovely memories. Sounds like your dad was a great guy.

Remember what I said about staying strong.

Daddy passed away last night.
I was holding his hand from 8am until 10:19pm, when he left us.
He was a great man, and I'm going to miss him so much.
I don't think he lost his battle with cancer.
I think he would have only lost if he had given up.
He fought all the way to his very last breath.
He would have...

be strong as you're able in this rough time and any to come...

I still miss my sister, as she was strength and advise and understanding and someone I strived to be at least somewhat like ... and it's been a decade.

Hope your weekend is a wonderful one, or as wonderful as it can be.
