I read this book series by J R ward for a while where the vampires only feed off of other vampires of the opposite sex until they āmeet their mateā and then they basically have a monogamous feeding relationship for the rest of their very long lives. Ā Thatās my least favorite. Ā A little boringly heterosexual and overly monogamous for beings that are supposed to live so long. Ā I DO however adore the laurel k Hamilton vampire universe. Ā Lots of sexual powers, and it integrates other fantasy creatures well.

@chef I had never heard of the JR Ward series and you're right, it sounds a bit tedious since they're vampires who live basically forever and they do sound super boringly hetero monogamous.Ā I've been meaning to read the Laurel K Hamilton series of books though as others have said they were good as well so I'm going to have to take your advice sweetie and check 'em out!!
