I need to take a few days to sort out my head. So many things have happened in the last week that I feel like I'm not in control on my life right now.

I can't live with that feeling.

What I mean when I say that Israel is a surreal place to live:

I'm in Global Marketing, last class of the day, and the fire alarm goes off.

The teachers pauses for a second, everyone looks around, and then he continues with what he was saying.

I raise my hand 'Uh, the fire alarm is going off' I say to him after aquick glance at the other American in the room (a 42 year old woman).

'Yes, and?' he asks me in an arrogant manner.

I let it slide.

The alarm goes off

Five minutes later it happens again. I get up, as does the other American and we go to check it out.

Turns out that there was a fire in the building and it quickly got put out but my class was the only one stupid enough to stay in the building after the first alarm.

What kind of people ignore a fire alarm??????
