Viva Las Vegas was awesome! The show was great, the cars were great, and we all had an awesome time. Can't wait until next year.

Even better...when I was heading home way early this morning I went to pull out of my parking spot only to find that my girl won't go into reverse!!! So there I was at 4am pushing my car out so I could get some goddamned sleep!!

I have a hunch that it might be the relay. I've got the wiring diagram and think I know which one it is...but before I start splicing wires I'm going to replace the thermostat and see if that does it.

I purchased the new thermostat and gasket...even went out to my car to give it a shot...went to take the old thermostat off only to realize that I should have drained the cooling system first...stupid, stupid, stupid...

The program I'm in is only for new cars...although many of our instructors have (and drive to school) classics and customs. Our last class is a custom painting class.

I certainly don't mind your input so long as you're someone who knows what they're talking about...not like this other dude who tried to spout off shit just because he wants to sound cool. Y'know the guy? The one who spends 10k on an already built roadster...when he runs into a problem with it he says, "I'll have to rebuild the engine" when what he really means is, "I'll have to pay someone else to rebuild the engine for me..."
He's also the guy who wanted to "nurse" the roadster down to a hot rod show to enter it as his own...even though all he'd done for it was fork over the cash...fuck ass...
Anyway, the fan works when powered straight from my battery, but not when it's in the circuit of the car. And the idiot 'temp' light comes on...so I'm thinking it's not the sensor. I'm thinking it might be the switch.
Any thoughts on why the fan wouldn't kick on when it should?

not heard 'the 3 bad jacks' but i will check them out now..i missed tiger army when they played here so cant comment on their live show
