Actually eating oysters raw can be a health risk ... if the waters they are harvested from are not monitored one can contract hepatitis ... so if you have had or not had ... could be a good thing not to eat them raw.

So, are you going to your reunion? When I was in Houston last September (I went to high school there) I had just missed my ten year reunion -- I know, my age is showing -- but I did graduate two years later than normal because I had moved between the States and the Middle East, and ya know, it's very important to repeat two years of school so you can get those vital PE and Health credits.

About chinchillas: could a person with two cats successfully own one? Don't they have a problem with their teeth needing filing or something crazy like that? What about the sand box? I'm asking because I've always wanted one, but have probably heard a lot of misinformation. I could read books, but first-hand advice is better. Take your time, dear. I see you're a busy comment poster.

My new computer is up and running, but not fully configured yet. At least I have an internet connection and a web browser again, so I can read and post messages here.

I fly to Boston on Saturday. Sunday through Wednesday I should be mostly free (at least at this point). The reunion stuff starts on Thursday, and will probably keep me busy after that.

Bop me a message on how I may get in touch with you. I'll bop you one with my cell-phone. I've another friend who lives in Brockton, so I might be heading down that way anyway.

Rites of Spring is def. a blast ... 5 days in PaganLand is fun ... is a bit costy though at $400 each ...

Oh, that's from two different Beatles songs. Last night in the car Danjal had on a mixed cd with a Marvin Gaye song on it. Not Sexual Healing! A dance song. I think I'm a Marvin Gaye fan. I havn't danced in my seat while driving in a looong ass time. Oh, we tried to see Hard Candy on Thursday but couldn't find it anywhere! We walked through Davis Suarq in Somerville last night and what do you think is playing at the tiny little Somerville Theatre. That's right.

No. I didn't see the movie. I was with four other people walking down the street in Davis Square when Danjal said "look what's playing there"! We all were already on the way to a bar a block away so I couldn't see it. Damn!

And, you know, seeing this picture just never gets old for me.

I love that photo because it's super-neat to see an attractive woman not worry about taking a distinctly goofy picture.

Face it, Shel...you're beloved and with good reason.
