sometimes its the people watching in big cities that is quite fun!
i used to love sitting outside a cafe or restaraunt and just watch
everybody strolling past me (when i lived in manhattan)
i've never been to paris...
maybe one day
kenyon:
yeah, things have been stupid around here. i'm off to the allergist today to see if we can't get my sordid immune system sorted.

hope things have been going better w/ you than they have been o'er here.

my weekend was rather uneventful...
but i got to rest up a bit..and thats always a good thing.
I got my haircut which was desperately needed!
I haven't seen any of Woodys recent films...
but i've heard some good things about his most recent (Match Point)
have you seen it?
I think you might like "The opposite of sex"
it has some really funny writing in it.... and i think it is one of
my favorite performances by Christina Ricci so far.
she is tarty, foulmouthed and just plain deviant in this role biggrin

hope your horoscope proves true!
kenyon:
ok, i found my cards. you know, THE cards . . . did a self-reading last night which went exceptionally well, i must say. i'm ready to do one for you. i realized that i'll probably photograph the layout and then give you the spiel, without going through it card by card, cause i'm trying to look at the spread as one big card, sorta, rather than breaking it down into little pieces. but feel free to ask questions.

the first question, however, you can either send to me in a private message, send me a message saying that you're keeping the question to yourself, or just ask for a general state-of-affairs/ lay-of-the land type thing. i think we discussed this before, but i forgot.

i'm psyched! here's to me not having a job so i can play with colorful cards on whim any time of day or night!

x. smile

can you believe that i don't have a cell phone!
damn, i need to catch up with the times..
i'm kind of picky about my comedians, but i will say that my favorite is George Carlin, i love his anger and his intelligence.
For some reason, everytime i see one of his shows (i have only seen him live once)
i manage to laugh my ass off, and yet learn things at the same time.
also he has a foul potty mouth like myself biggrin
i have never heard of "My robot friend"...
when i have more time later, i'll check them out.
shellymc:
yes...
in some of his acts he does mostly monologues.
his comedy style has changed a lot since the seventies...
i like most of his stuff from the 80's on.
Some people find him to hateful, but i share a lot of the same views that he does.
He is fiercely anti religion, and also makes fun of everybody...
he doesn't play favorites if you know what i mean.
but he backs up all his comments ... basically proving he can debate with the best.
He is very intelligent even though foulmouthed biggrin
my stepfather likes him, but often says "He goes overboard a lot of the time"
I just like the fact that he doesn't think any subject matter is taboo.

I'm OK. Just want to get away from here sometime. I'm stuuuck. The trains are so packed but hopefully tonight... I'll be on my way up north. I'm feeling like I have nothing to do here and lots to do back home so.. I'm ready to go. ARRR!!!
salome:
Thanks, that was interesting. Without having listened to this album, though, I have to say that I like the Flaming Lips' old stuff better than the new stuff (compared with anything from Transmissions from the Satellite Heart, Do You Realize = puke )

and thanks for your will to will energy. i'll take that, and it will do fine. as for what i will you - inspiration. and the promise to never get boring. wink

yeah, i feel liberated, but also vulnerable and kind of freaked. denial is a strange beast. ok, i'm really off to feign sleep now!! 'night.
