so theres something to be said for remembering to wipe your SD card BEFORE you lend out your camera, especially if you decide to lend it to family. So my cousin has been painting pictures lately and using his laptop camera to take pictures of his paintings, needless to say he has been unhappy with the image quality and asked if when i came over saturday if i could bring a camera with me. So i charged up my canon powershot G9 and brought it over with me, drank that evening and he hadn't woken up sunday by the time i was gonna take off, so i left a note saying he could borrow my camera. I went home and got started on the usual sunday routine of laundry and relaxing, a few hours later i was sitting on my couch and had a sudden and kind of terrifying realization, i do NOT know what i left on that memory card, i checked the last backups of the memory card (i havnt used it in some time) and they contained photos of me taking personal pics for my girl, videos of me masturbating (again for her :-P) and even found some pictures of the both of us nude and doing sex acts, including penetration and oral sex. Like i said i cant remember for the life of me if i wiped ANY of these things off my memory card, and its kind of a trek to go back to their house to find out whats left on the card, so a coin toss said im not even gonna worry about it, my girl just kinda laughed and said well i guess he would be in for a show, so NOT overly worried at this point, and havnt exactly warned him that there may be these images on the camera so he wont go looking for them LOL, and so far havn't heard anything, moral of the story people? Make sure ALL compromising images are OFF a memory card before you lend your camera out.
