so i went to Namebrand today...Adam is moving to Cali. Jeff will be doing my piece.

So, here it is, in the breakdown:

Minute 1: Looking at your picture, reading a few brief words and deciding to look at more pictures.

Minute 2: Hm! I must see more pictures! And so I look at them all. Strange and interesting. Not just the people and the places, but the angles and the choices of photography. The colors and grays... And I know why I love John Leguizamo, but I wonder why YOU love John Leguizamo.

Minute 10: Having now become hooked by the nature of your photos, I am intent on finding out more; I go to your profile. No WAY does it say Shogun Assassin (My son and I live in the area between Heaven and Hell and expect hardship at all times; in life as well as in death. - Ogami Ito) That and Lightning Swords of Death are 2 of my most-watched films of all time. 10 points for you. If you don't have the whole "Baby Cart" series, I highly recommend it.

Minute 12: In having read your last several journal entries, I am peaked in curiosity. Where does she live now and where is she moving? Who is this boy who makes her giggle so? Is he the one she left while he was sleeping? Is this a temporary sadness or a now impermeable block of immobile weight which has grown between them? So I read on; backwards into the snapshots of time.

Minute 17: i want wings that have a really large span and have lots of feathers so that when people say something stupid i can start fluttering around violently, and hopefully scare them. Ha ha ha. The imagery is great. You with a very stern and serious look on your face shaking these two immense wings at the boy who pixilated your pictures and his supervisor. They react with a mix of confusion and despair.

Minute 20: I was able to deduce that you live near Chicago, since thats where you got tattooed. I read that youre moving to Seattle. With each question felled, more spring up, like the teeth of the Hydra, planted and turning into zombies (or some such mythology). And so the plot thickens and the subplots entertain: I am thoroughly impressed that youve never had a cavity until this year. I am also impressed with your taco eating prowess. It is the stuff of legends to be sure.

Minute 25: I begin to feel like you were a friend I never met. I realize that I actually feel a bit sad that I never got to know you when you were merely 5 hours away, and now youre moving 3000 miles. And I imagine that you feel sad too. There there, dont cry. After the minutes and minutes of our relationship, the memories I have will last a lifetime. I will treasure this completely imaginary one sided conversation as one of the best completely imaginary one sided conversations of my life. I hope that you do go back to eating meat, that you dont go back to smoking, and that you do post more photos of your bodily cartoon as it gets inked. I hope that you have the closure you need to make a clean break to prepare you for your move, I hope that the boy (or boys) dream about you feverishly when youre gone, and I hope that the girl in the photos with you knows just how much she is loved.
