*EDITED*
I'm gonna quit the internet and social life for a while. I'll be back when I feel better.

Ok, I know everyone is probably really tired of me updating, but guess what, I don't care.
So, in talking to one of my best friends, I brought up the fact that I consider him much more as my best friends than he considers me, and that's fine because really what can I do to change that, but that it sometimes hurts. He doesn't do the 'comforting' bit, so when he has an issue, he tells me and I openly and honestly try to help, try to comfort, listen and be a friend. I can't do that as well, and though I fully admit that on a scale,I have no real problems and anything I would ever bring up is probably petty, but it;s the reciprocated friendship that isn't there, and it hurts my feelings every so often.
So I finally just said it. And his reaction left little to comfort me, or settle my piece of mind. I recieved a reply of "whada ya want me to say?" and then after telling him to just give me a reaction, agree, disagree, just tell me what you think of everything I just said, his further reply was "i'd prolly have to say you have a very valid, and probably accurate view of the situation, and i have to run now.... sorry girl...."
So, I am toppling over my own emotions right now, those damn pesky emotions that I try so hard to completely ignore. Whats the point of having friends when occasionally they can hurt your feelings more than anyone else could possibly even try. I know I shouldn't have brought it up if I was not prepared to get the answers I didn't want, but it really is a shame. The person I spent everyday talking to and keeping in constant communication with all summer, who told me about his love troubles, some of his past, actually called me to cry when his heart broke, has admit that while he is fine to share his troubles with me, he isn't quite comfortable showing me that same friendship.
So, what is a girl to do? am I back to being the girl I used to be? Letting people walk all over me because it gave me some kind of validation that people wanted me around, even if it was just because I'm a good listener and I give great massages at command.
I dunno, anyone want a massage?
