Yesterday my neighbor knocks on my door and tells me that he had just put 4 kittens in my back yard. ( I didn't think why yet) so shocked I said ok? Me and my friend John go to the back yard and low and behold there a 4 all black 2 week old kittens. They looked like they were in really bad shape. So I put them in my shack/spare bedroom in my back yard. Made them a little bed out of comforters. And tried to make it so the mom would stay in their. The mom is a total stray. So I go to the store and buy cat food, food holder, litter box, litter, cat treats. Everything I could think of to make my shack more comfortable for the mom. Get back form the store set everything up. My friend that works at a animal rescue place came over to check them out. I called her cause I was super scared and I didn't want those little guys to get worse. Their eyes were all cover with huge eye bugers and they had fleas all over them. She came over washed their eyes and got all the shit off them put light coats of flea spray on them. She said they probably had a upper repertory infection and gave them mild antibiotics for there eyes. We were in their taking care of them for 2 hours. After that I took her out for a drink and the hole time we just talked about the kittens and I felt guilty for not being at home with them. When I got home I went around to the back of the shack/bedroom and the mom was their feeding them and every thing looked like it was going to work out, so I went to bed. I wake up this morning and go and check on them and two of the kittens are gone. I went back in the house to go to the bathroom and went back out there and another one was gone. No there is only one left and I am totally bummed. The mom I guess doesnt feel safe in their. I really wished she did.
