I found a new church to go to back in Illinois.
Bit scared.
I'm always scared to go to new churches where no one knows me, though.
Oh wellll.
I'll make new BFFIZZLES and all that. :]

Tomorrow's blog today 'cos I'm impatient. tongue

I made a choice recently and that was to be happy no matter what.

And so far, three days into it, its been coming up roses.

Everything seems to be coming easier for me.

Life is easy and fun and pleasurable.

I am worth being happy.

Happiness isnt something that can be taken away from you.

It is something...

Hey babes :]
I'm so happy lately. It's 'cos I've chosen to be happy and take life by storm rather than letting life take ME by storm. :]
Everything just seems to be going perfectly. It's amazing.

Good playlist:
1. Nolita Fairytale - Vanessa Carlton
2. 1234 - Feist
3. Let My Love Open the Door - Pete Townshend
4. Just Dance - Lady Gaga...

CHICAGO PEOPLE!

Hello, Chicagoans. :]
What are some places that I MUST MUST MUST MUST go to in Chicago?
I'm pretty much a newbie to the area minus visiting the American Girl Place (which was my Disneyland).

What're some good boutiques (clothes or music ones or books!) and some good second hand stores? Oh, good record stores, too?
Let me knowwww. :]
Also, who wants...

Welcome!

Since you seem to like High Fidelity, you should check out Reckless Records in Wicker Park. It's pretty awesome, and a couple doors down from the building they used in the movie. smile

It's hipster city around there, though...but the plus side is that there's lots of little cafes and such with pretty good eats. A lot of vegan/vegetarian spots, and mostly pretty cheap. Unlike most of the bars, which have the audacity to whack you four bucks for a PBR while you're surrounded by characters from an Urban Outfitters catalog. Haha. But there's probably about 5,000 little botiques, thrift stores, and the like within a one-mile radius.

Oh, and I would not be opposed to meetups. Not one bit. smile

Maybe I missed the boat on this one.
Maybe I totally need to re-read it.

But, in my opinion, Catcher in the Rye was just some teenager bitching about life, pretending to have amazing insight that the rest of us don't have. If I wanted that, I'd re-read my diaries from 10th grade.

And usually I'm the first to catch deep meaning in books like...

I am jealous of those of you who know what you want from life and how to get it.

I know what I want. I just have no idea how to get it.

The upside to this?

I get to have a longer journey of finding myself and others along the way.
