Really do you do it on your own, or in a class.

hey, just got back from the farmer's market. I think that's going to be new saturday morning habit for me. Got some great bread, some organic veggies, but alas. No sparkling rubys.

I've never been to Canada but I plan on going soon...eventually...hopefully.
I don't mind the rain, its just today I didn't want it to. And in Philly there's not all the nice trees everywhere like in Portland, so rain feels weird. I know it sounds weird...but rain in wide open space feels different then if its filtering through a tree.
I think I'm just crabby from the humidity.

I can relate to that kind of money, my program is criminally expensive as well. Should be well worth it. Hope you find a great room mate quickly.

I need some mittens... its getting hot down here!!
I took a break from LGOTW because its kinda alot of work to do, and plus, when I posted the series on "the boards" SG took it all down... which I thought sucked because I'm only promoting their own models... so I decided to lay off that for a while... but I'll get back into it - and no one else will do it better than me!!

Torrid. They aren't on their website though!
It's a plus sized store (which you obviously aren't, haha) but their shoes are regular sized if you wanted to buy yourself a pair

Ok, the stats exam is over & I think I did ok. By ok I mean I passed, like 50% or so. I think that even if I didn't really pass the prof will pass me based on my pain, suffering, time & effort spent on this course. Oh well, like my Family Studies faculty advisor told me " D still gets you a degree"!

You'll have passed with flying colours dear.
It'll be worth all the time spent

I have a statistics exam on Saturday. I hate math & formulas and I will never use this stuff again, ever. If I don't pass, I won't be able to begin my BA in Education in September!! I hate math.

I know you said you don't add people who you don't know as friends, so, hi. I guess the rest is in my profile
good luck on your exam, I'm sure you'll do fine

you see the thing to remember about math is, it's only different combinations of the same ten numbers. granted, there are an infinite number of ways to mix, match, arrange, splice, mutilate, and grind up and stuff into sausage casings ... but it's still only those ten numbers. that's what always got me through.

I can't seem to make my jpeg files small enough to post here, but click on the myspace link, go to view more pics & you can see my new tattoo outline. Colour comes next!

Cool tats. I like your avatar pic.
Have you tried playing with your photo editor's compression setting when you save jpegs? Just don't compress them too much, or edges will get wavy and funky due to something called "Gibbs' phenomenon (oops, sorry, that's math stuff

Well I got tattooed yesterday and I am sore and tired. I always get this amazing adrenaline buzz after it's done but the next day is different. We only did the outline and that took about 1 1/2 hours, it's a large piece. I can now say the back of my neck is tattooed and boy does that hurt! I'll post a pic as soon...

opps, computer got the best of me again.

After the a discussion today in one of the groups I have some suggestions about how to respond to postings...
1) Think about what you read before you make a comment...If someone says " "People often do ____ because they have poor self conceptions", I don't think a reply with something like .."It's not fair of you to assume that everyone who does __ is...

You're absolutely dead-on about the critical-thinking part of your message. That's what drives me NUTS about most people - online or not. Is it really so hard to step back and say, "hey, what's MY role in all this?"
That's why I posted what I did in the Geezers marriage thread.
For the record I want to support you in your advocacy of over-30 SG's. I agree that there needs to be a little less age discrimination on here.

I enjoyed reading your arguments and I'm glad that you didn't stop writing them simply because we disagreed with you.
It's ok about the emails, I thought it was hilarious.
