My parents are freaking hilarious!

I get into town and call my dad to let him know that I made it. He says,"Oh no the house is a mess because we are getting the carpets shampooed. We thought you were coming in tomorrow." And so yeah. I tell him I will pick up mom. Mom works at Walmart. Dad says,"Ok, but you'll just see me there anyway because I gotta get something there." So, about an hour later when it's time to pick her up I get there and my dad is already there sitting on one of the benches inside. He doesn't have a bag in his hands so I'm not sure what he bought. Oh wait, he didn't buy anything. He went to Walmart so that he could see me hopefully before my mom does. stupid competitive guy stuff I guess. Weird. So yeah he heads home and we get there after him. I asked him what he got at walmart and he comfirms it for me."Nothing. I just wanted to see my daughter."

I guess that's really cute. My parents are really proud of me and stuff but weird.
It's like the old show the Munsters. I'm the normal cousin who lives with the family of freaks.
And I love every last one of them.
