I don't like going to the beach. In all fairness I would say that I put up with it when ever I find myself there. This time was different. David's cousin from Chicago is in town and is renting a house in Hermosa Beach right on the beach. There is a back porch that you can sit out on and just stare at the people walking by and the people out playing vollyball in the sand and finally the idiots that actually venture out into the water. I was content just sitting on the porch with my beer with a blanket (must preserve my snow white like skin) and took everything in. It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Yea it's not bad is it? You should try it on the back of a boat that's docked in a marina (or better yet, right here). It's even better.
